I just bought this brush and it is almost painfully stiff - my eyebrows got red after the first use. Am I doing something wrong?

The Brow Brush is designed for use with Mineral Brow Perfection. Use the brush to pick up some of the wax and then gently brush against the growth of the brows. Next pick up a little wax and then the powder and gently brush with the brow growth. Use light, gentle strokes to keep the natural-looking fullness.
