This will vary by user. With proper care, the Chisel Brush and our other brushes will last a very long time. Always store the brushes flat or in a cup, brush end up. After cleaning brushes, be sure to gently pat with a towel and lay flat to dry.

It's important to clean the Chisel Brush regularly with Mineral Wash because the oils from your skin can accumulate on the brush and interfere with proper application. Oily skins will need to cleanse brushes more often.

If you want your brushes to last a long time I would recommend cleaning them at the very least once a week with brush cleaner, especially for an everyday foundation brush. About once a month you should do a deep cleaning using a very mild shampoo (I find baby shampoo works quite well for this.) Cleaning them makes them last longer and keeps your skin clear and free of problems.

As long as you wash your brush at least once a week it should keep for a long time, around several years.

A non-conditioning shampoo can also be used to clean our brushes.

This Chisel Brush is the same size as the Chisel Brush in the Starter Kit.

Please be assured that our brushes are cruelty-free. We do not have plans at this time to switch to synthetic brushes as we prefer to use natural materials whenever possible.

The Chisel Brush is made with a blend of goat, sable and pony hair.

I would try washing the brush and letting it air dry. That should help it go back to its original shape, but if it does not after that, return it to the store from where you made the purchase.
