Question
Eye Shadow - Midnight Jade
I have green eyes and am looking at the new color "Midnight Jade." What do you think about using the same color (green eyes, green shadow)? Is this "out" and if so, what would you suggest? I have light skin and light brown hair. Thanks.

I LOVE the Midnite Jade! It looks so gorgeous that I am going to get it to use as a liner. I have light skin also and have green/light brown eyes. I have found if you just use a great color like this as a liner and maybe smudge it a little if you want it to show more, it really brings attention to the green in your eyes. I keep the rest of the eye in neutral tones(nude on lid/hi light, bronze brown in crease), then that pop of color at the lash line. I do it with a pretty blue also and it makes the brown stand out. Use lots of black mascara for bright whites and sparkly eyes. As long as you don't go lash to brow all in dark green, your eyes will look bright, open and beautiful! Covering the whole lid doesn't let your pretty eyes show! Play with the color and have fun!
