Some are shimmery (like the bronzes and golds) and others are matte (like the charcoal and dark brown). I think you'll be pleased with this product. The shimmers and mattes all blend well together.

The shadows in the palette are generous sample sizes. Since they are pure pigments, you will find that a little goes a long way.

Question
Are the new holiday colours the only new colours in this palette?
I purchased the previous eye palette, and it doesn't have a list of the colours, Just wondering how many are the same as the old one. Hope that makes sense. Thanks, Robin.

There are five shades in addition to the three new ones that were not offered in the previous eye palette: Onyx, Champagne Citrine, Sunstone, Olivenite, and Spiced Mica.

Our eye shadows are gentle enough for sensitive eyes. They are free of fragrance, alcohol, talc, fillers, petroleum-based oils, and chemical dyes. Although not common, some people may be sensitive to the pigments used in purple and blue shades.

I have dry skin, so do I need an eye shadow base to keep the eyeshadow in place and prevent creasing, or just apply the eyeshadow normally?

Our eye shadows do not crease. However, you may find that your eye shadow is more vibrant and even longer wearing using our Mineral Eye Prep (http://www.purminerals.com/Mineral-...). It is a treatment that improves skin tone and texture while neutralizing lid color.
