Do not wear it too heavy, especially near the crease.

If you're talking about this season's very popular smokey eye, look at the "Optimism and Adventure" instructions on the holiday eye palette that just recently came out. It has White Opal as the highlight, Moon Pearl as the lid, Onyx as the crease, & Onyx Eye Defining Pencil as the liner. Looks like a very nice way to experiment with this look. And as previously stated, use great brushes & remember you can never blend too much!

Most of us are not natural makeup artists. The right brushes will help not only with application but blending.
