If you're talking about this season's very popular smokey eye, look at the "Optimism and Adventure" instructions on the holiday eye palette that just recently came out. It has White Opal as the highlight, Moon Pearl as the lid, Onyx as the crease, & Onyx Eye Defining Pencil as the liner. Looks like a very nice way to experiment with this look. And as previously stated, use great brushes & remember you can never blend too much!

Most of us are not natural makeup artists. The right brushes will help not only with application but blending. The Eye Shadow Brush, Crease Brush, and Eyeliner Brush will give you the tools you need to achieve these looks. This and other sites provide useful tips. It may take a little practice. Try a new look when you can take your time and don't be afraid to experiment.

Use an eyeshadow base. I prefer a soft off white. It goes on like foundation. It helps the colors from the eye shadow you apply afterwards to really show up. I find a light color near the brow bone (one that almost doesn't show up) and a mid-tone on the eye lid, with a dark color in the crease really makes a dramatic and beautiful look.

We recommend pairing soft neutral shades like Vanilla Feldspar, Champagne Citrine, and Sunlit Gypsum with browns, golds, and soft purples like Chocolate Topaz, Gold Dust, Gold Marcasite, Lavender Mourite, and Plum.

You can use our eye shadows as either wet or dry eye liner. If you decide to use it wet, we recommend dipping the wet brush in only one part of the compact so you can use the rest of the powder as a shadow.

Question
Is this colour available as a single?
A few months ago I purchased an eye shadow pallett and although I enjoy all the shades, there is one in particular I love and wear regularly -- Moss Mesolite. I don't see it as an available choice in the singles -- has it or will it ever be available to purchase as a single?

Question
How do you apply the Pur Intensity Eyeline with it looking streaky?
I am new to using the Pur Intensity Eyeliner and am use to using a pencil eyeliner and not the brush, but when I put the Intensity eyeliner on it looks a streaky. What am I doing wrong? I have the eyeliner brush. I see someone else suggests wetting the brush.

We recommend dipping the Eye Liner Brush (dry) in Pur Intensity and then removing excess liner by lightly sweeping the brush on a tissue. Use short strokes to apply and go back over to fill in any bare spots. The Smoky Eye Video, http://www.purminerals.com/video-smoky-eyes, shows application of Pur Intensity and is a great reference.

HAVE YOU DISCONTINUED INTENSIVE EYE TREATMENT AND IF SO WHAT CAN I USE IN IT'S PLACE?

We are sorry but Intensive Eye Treatment has been discontinued. We recommend our new Tone Up Eye Serum (http://www.purminerals.com/Tone-Up-...). Tone Up helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dark under eye circles, and puffiness. It also helps firm, lift, and smooth the eye area.
