Question
will it make my skin ashy or will I have ashy undertone
I'm african american and I've had experience with mineral makeup that made me look ashy?

Our range of shades to choose from will make it easier avoid looking ashy. In addition, our powders do not contain talc. Talc can contribute to an ashy finish. Some of our customers with richer skin tones have found that using our Powder Brush (http://www.purminerals.com/Powder-Mineral-Makeup-Brush) to apply the 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation also helps with this concern.

Mineral glo is just that it gives you a nice healthy glo and don't apply like bronzer, a light hand and you place it a different spots all over the face and even the throat if you like

The Bronzer is used to even out skin tone, while adding a beautiful, natural glow to the skin. The Mineral Glow adds a little burst of colour to the skin, making it appear sun-kissed and radiant.

The mineral glow is a name of a bronzer with antioxidants in it that is good for your skin. So there is really no difference if you are asking just about coloring aspects.

Question
Will it make my face look too pink?
Universal Marble Powder in Pink
I thought that it may be too pink for me, but to my suprise it isnt"t . It adds just the right amount of warmth to your skin to make you look polished. I have been using this make-up with the 4 in 1 and I am amazed at how light it feels and how perfect the coverage is. My skin is looking healthier and my husband and others tell me that I don't look old enough to be a grandmother -yet alone a mother of a 20 year old.

I was also hesitant thinking that it might make me look like I was trying to look too young, but the tint is just right to make you look healthy and vibrant. I have constant, chronic, severe pain. My co-workers say that I look like I am feeling better now and don't look as old or tired as I did. The only change that I have made was in moisturizers and I switched to Pur Mineral Make-up. I like to use the Pink Marble Powder on my cheeks either as blush or over blush. I apply it with a large-style bronzer brush, lightly dusting it on.

If your skin tone is not too light (medium), yes, you can use a touch of bronzer all year long. But if your skin tone is fairly light, you can switch to the Universal marble powder in bronze during the winter months. Just dust the color on your cheeks, across your forehead and on the tip of your nose and chin. Just remember that less is better. Like everything in makeup, if we put on too much that's when we start looking old school !

In my humble opinion, I think too much "bronzer" in the winter is definitely Old School. I don't mind seeing just a kiss of color to give a healthy glow, but too much all over is very '80's & '90's to me. Again, just my two cents' worth. :>)

The compacts for our 4-in-1 Foundation, Blush, and Eye Shadow have mirrors. We have chosen to eliminate mirrors in new products that we introduce, like our specialty powders, that do not require more than one application in the morning.

Question
I have dark age spots, will these powders (blush and/or bronzers) darken my spots as most products do? If not, which gives the best results?

The blushes and bronzers will add some color to your age spots. You may want to try Peach Colour Correcting Primer (http://www.purminerals.com/Foundation-Face-Primer-Peach). This primer neutralizes skin tone to help offset age spots, dark spots, freckles, and dark under eye circles.

how do you choose between pur radiance, mineral light and mineral glow?

Select the specialty powder based on the look you wish to achieve. Pur Radiance has a slightly pink undertone and imparts a youthful, radiant, and healthy glow. Mineral Light has an ivory undertone that imparts a candlelit glow to the skin. Mineral Glow will give you a sun-kissed look without ever looking orange or streaky.

Question
Please clarify which will give more 'bronzing'?
I've been reading the questions - thanks for the answers but I am still not clear.
Is the marble powder in bronze an actual bronzer or is it lighter than the mineral glow? Which is going to give me more bronzing?

Bronze Marble Powder has two bronze shades marbled with a pearl shade. The marble powder provides more subtle bronzing than Mineral Glow. We recommend Mineral Glow if you want a more bronzing.
